Red Herrings split after 13 years!

On the night of Wednesday 20th September 2000, the Red Herrings made their quickest decision ever - to split up after 13 years.   Audiences all over the north of England breathed a sigh of relief. 

Our final farewell gig was held on June 16th at Shipley Rowing Club starting in the afternoon and going on into the evening.  Loads of people came and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere - music, drinks, picnics.  The celebration  ended with a fireworks display and a fire Herring 'flying' up into the sky.
